During the 3-hour, live-guided virtual training course, you will gain knowledge and understanding of:

• How to build on the elements of consultation
• The difference between consultation and engagement
• What constitutes accommodation
• Ways we can strengthen our consultation practices
• The use of the Risk Assessment Tool
• How to prepare for questions your Indigenous counterparts will ask you
• How to deal with issues related to Western Science and Indigenous Knowledge
• Practice protocol and interactions

The course is aimed at non-Indigenous learners with little to no knowledge of or experience working with Indigenous Peoples.
