In Yukon, we recognize the territories of the 14 self-governing First Nations, including the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and the Ta’an Kwäch’än Council.

In the Northwest Territories, we honour the Dene, Inuvialuit, and Métis Peoples, whose lands and waters continue to sustain communities and economies.
We express our respect and gratitude to the Indigenous Peoples who have stewarded these lands for generations.
