Sake & Art: Tasting and Discovery

France Executive Circle invites you to an exceptional tasting event and discovery of local know-how on Thursday March 27 starting at 5 pm. This unique evening on Granville Island will start with a local sake tasting at Artisan SakeMaker, followed by networking at The Wil Aballe Art Gallery.

We invite you to participate in one or both parts of this event according to your preferences.

On the program

  • Tasting of three signature sakes per person at Artisan SakeMaker on Granville Island from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Discover an art gallery and network at Wil Aballe, in Granville Island from 6:15 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Sake tasting at Artisan SakeMaker: 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Did you know that it is possible to use rice grown locally in British Columbia to create perfectly fine sake? For one hour through a sake tasting experience, you will have the opportunity to discover the subtleties and unique flavors of this traditional Japanese drink (3 samples). Artisan SakeMaker (1339 Railspur Alley, Vancouver) is renowned for its know-how and the quality of its products.

Wil Aballe Art Gallery Networking: 6:15 p.m. to 8 p.m.

To continue the evening, we head to the art gallery of Wil Aballe (1375 Railspur Alley, Vancouver). We will have the opportunity to exchange and network around the works and pastries provided by Faubourg.
